4. Chemical endurance

* uPVC resins are able to withstand:

- Water, salt solution

- Oxidation, reducing agent

- Most vegetable oils, fats, alcohol and petroleum ...

In addition, uPVC is capable of withstanding chemicals and environmental impacts due to being combined with additives, but uPVC should not be used in excess of the permitted temperature of 45°

* uPVC resins are not able to withstand:

- Concentrated acids are oxidizing.

- Acids containing the Cr component will cause the breakdown of uPVC

* Advantages of hard uPVC pipe:

- No rust, durable with chemicals.

- Withstand high impact and pressure.

- Non-toxic.

- Small friction coefficient.

- Good insulation.

- Light weight is only 1/5 the weight of iron and steel, easy transportation.

5. Pressure reducing factor:

Applies to temperatures in the range of 25 °C - 45 °C. (Pressure reducing coefficient is determined for maximum working pressure at temperatures above 25 °C)
